This is an initial service which is probably the most crucial of all steps. It involves the exact measurement of your space. When that is complete, the design firm will do a floor layout which determines the furniture pieces and sizes that will work in your space.

Sometimes there are a few different options to arranging a room, but usually one layout will remain optimal when deciding. Of course, kitchen and bath remodels solely begin with exact measurements and this step cannot be ignored.

Color & Fabric Selection
This process seems to be the most widely used of all services. Most clients need some guidance when selecting color. A color scheme often helps clients to begin to take their design in a certain direction. It is one of the first steps in the design process. Selecting wallpaper and fabrics can be a daunting task for many. Our years of design experience will benefit any client who is feeling overwhelmed with choices.

New Construction Option Selections
New construction requires many color and option selections before the home is completed. Nancy Regan Designs offers a consultation service to accompany the client to the builder’s design showroom and help with the decision making. If you begin on the correct path, many decorating mistakes in the future are averted.

Shopping
This service has been invaluable for clients. For an hourly fee, the designer will accompany the client in selection of furniture, carpets, window treatments, or accessories for their design project.

In several cases, the client prefers the design firm to make the selections using their own expertise. Some clients don’t have the time and just want the project handled for them from start to finish. We offer both services and will perform either option depending on the individual situation.

Accessorizing
This is a truly important step in the design process. Even the most expensive furnishings won’t look complete until the accessories are in place. For clients under contract, this phase is automatically included in the design process. However, for clients who have already purchased some items and don’t know how to complete the project, we offer an accessorizing service to help you finish the job.

Window Treatments
Window treatments will truly complete your room. Each and every project is unique in its own and suggestions for style, fabrics, color, and concepts will be discussed and sketched. We can supply our own contractors, or if you have a favorite fabricator, we can assist you with design options and accompany you at time of selection.

Real Estate Staging
This is an invaluable service if you are trying to sell your home. A consultation to help you optimize your home’s value with simple design strategies and correct furniture placement can result in a huge difference in getting your asking price and selling your home quickly.
